Diet restrictions
Nothing to eat or drink, including water, after midnight of the day before your procedure.
Rest easy
You will receive sedatives through and IV.
Starting procedure
The endoscope will be passed through your mouth, esophagus, stomach and duodenum.
Recovery
After the procedure, you will be kept under observation until most effects of the sedative have worn off.
